TERMS of SALE CONTRACT
I, ____________________________ as the Buyer, agree to purchase the following puppy/adult under the following conditions.
- When reserving a puppy from a particular litter, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit.
- Buyer agrees to provide fresh food, fresh water daily, safe confinement
daily yard scooping of fecal matter and adequate shelter for the dog.
- Buyer agrees to provide adequate daily attention, socialization and clean living environment.
- If the Siberian Husky is sold as a pet it must be neutered/spayed before one year of age.
- If at ANY time the buyer can not care for the dog, no longer wants, or has to place the dog, the
breeders MUST be notified. The breeder has the first right of refusal with the option of taking the dog back and/or finding appropriate placing for it.
- Buyer agrees not to transfer ownership of the Siberian Husky without informing the breeder.
- Buyer must agree that the dog will NEVER be allowed off lead or loose
except in a secure fenced area.
- Buyer agrees to provide veterinary care as necessary and meet state Rabies requirements.
- The dog should be seen by your veterinarian within 72 hours of purchasing. If the dog becomes ill
after the 72 hours, no refund will be made.
- Genetic Illness & Disease: If the dog is diagnosed with an inherited genetic disease or illness after
purchase the breeder is to be notified. Vet records signed by Buyer’s veterinarian must be sent to breeder. If dog comes up with genetic disease/illness up to 24 months of age, the dog may be replaced by another dog of as much or equal quality as possible, through the next available puppy. The previous dog may be returned to breeder if Buyer seeks replacement puppy/dog. If Buyer wishes to keep previous affected dog and receive a new dog of equal quality, the Breeder will try and work out a deal that is as fair as possible.
- If Breeder fees Buyer is not properly caring for dog, neglecting the dog, or over breeding the dog, the
Breeder can re-possess the dog, no money back, and no future replacement dog. Breeder has full option of deciding what is best for the dog and makes the final decision on weather Buyer keeps the dog or Breeder re-possesses the dog.
- Breeder defines over breeding as the bitch gives birth to more than 5 litters in her lifetime.
Buyer may not breed bitch any younger than 2 years of age, males no younger than 18 months.
- Buyer agrees to refuse to enter any deals with dog wholesalers or to sell puppies/dogs
to pet shops or wholesalers. Breedings or stud use must include contract agreements. Agreements are to be signed by new owners of puppies/dogs that may result from any matings out of said dog in this purchase agreement. The contract must state that the offspring of said dog purchased by the buyer of this agreement will not be sold to wholesalers, pet shops or any agent for wholesalers or pet shops.
- Buyer agrees to clear dog’s hips & eyes before it is bred.
A copy of the dogs CERF papers & OFA papers must be sent to the breeder.
- If Buyer moves to a different location, the Breeder must be notified of the Buyer’s
new address and telephone number.
